Peter has tried unsuccessfully for two whole years to get a job as a graphic artist. Then he hears about a job opening he's perfect for—alas, they're interviewing only women.

Peter's brother Josh buys Peter a bodysuit—a garment made using space-age technology. Together, bodysuit and voice-spray give Peter the shape and the contralto voice of a sexy blonde.

Peter gets the graphic-artist job, as "Pamela." But that is only the start of Peter's adventures.

What would your life be like if you lived as a man on evenings and weekends, but worked weekdays as a gorgeous babe? Read this book and find out.

This book contains five stories

Girl, Monday Through Friday—Peter's dream comes true. Then the dream becomes a nightmare.

The New Model—What would convince Peter's macho brother Josh to put on a bodysuit and become a sexy redhead?

Much Ado...—Why on Earth would "Pamela" (a man dressed as a woman) dress as a man, who then dresses as a woman? Why? Would you believe—to get the car fixed?

Pas De Deux—boy (dressed as girl) meets girl (dressed as boy).

Femme Fatale—a blackmailer knows Peter's secret identity.

Dressing For Success eBook P J Wright

I have lost count how many times I have read this story. First and foremost if are looking story about sexual escapades and the oddities that go with most TG story, past this one up. If you are looking that can write in an intelligent and forthright manner, look no further. PJ Wright has in my judgment a very professional and imaginative story line of a person who by no means want but is force into use a bodysuit…a female bodysuit to secure a place of employment. In this mode he had some interesting misadventures, and insights into what makes who we are and understanding the cosmos on a different level. The author bring alive sights, sounds, taste, and thoughts. A wonderful painting into words. It’s rare that someone wright on this level on this subject.

Here is line I think about from a story I read back in 1969

Dressing For Success eBook P J Wright Reviews

A fun read about the roles of the Gender's in the business world as it has been.

While not a typical TG story this tail has taken the "Body Suit" theme and put in to a more realistic use in presenting the roll of the Sexes.
Yes there is a little Sex Play in the story line but only as needed to present the perception's many of us have about Office Gender Politics.

It takes a while for PJ to come to terms with the realities of falling back on his "Girl Suit". In the end the Wright side wins. You will just have to read the whole series of stories to understand How and Why.

If you are looking for a Sex laden story pass this one by. But if you want a Fun Read by all means try this one, you'll enjoy it.
Dressing For Success is a bit of an oddity in the genre of female masking fiction, in that it's a full-length novel that takes a serious, yet sometimes lighthearted, approach. It's a story that could have been told using the trope of the perfectly proportioned crossdresser, or even the surgically enhanced bimbo, but P. J. Wright uses masking and bodysuits to actually tell a more grounded, more realistic tale.

That's not to say it's all completely realistic, and that there's no element of fantasy here. Wright's idea of a masks and bodysuits is a tad more advanced than science is currently able to produce, but the amount of detail invested in NuGen's product actually makes it plausible. Peter is just as skeptical as the reader, especially when he takes the flimsy bit of plastic out of the box. We share his struggle to put any faith whatsoever into the product, and then his amazement as the detailed instructions for preparation and use do, ultimately, deliver a perfect illusion of femininity.

Part of what I loved so much about the opening to the novel is the way Peter distances himself from Pamela. Although he's inside her skin, he 'sees' her as a different person entirely, and takes great delight in watching her in the mirror, as if her movements weren't his own. Thanks to the technology, she fits perfectly, and a chemical spray delivers a perfect feminine voice for up to 8 hours at a time. Sure, he might pick up on naturally feminine movements a bit too quickly to be plausible, but he's not so perfect that he pushes the bounds of credibility.

There are 5 sections to the novel, each of them its own story that's a part of the greater whole. All-in-all, Dressing For Success is a fantastic bit of fiction that makes great use of female masking and bodysuits to tell the story, which has some genuine insights into what it means to be transgender, and which takes a refreshingly realistic approach to relationships. While there are some erotic moments, this is largely a dramatic romp that's entirely suitable for anybody with an interest in the genre.
not worth the money not what i expected at all very up set
Great read, into crossing dressing, gender swap than this is dream come true you will enjoy this book. Put on your heels, stockings and read
Great story line and well thought through. Obviously a little sci-fi wearing a suit that changes your gender, but wouldn't we all like to have one just like it? Well written, too. Recommend highly.
I'm surprised there has been no reviews. I bought it on the roll out, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The set-up is a qualified professional who can't find employment, who finds a loop hole. The fun is in the sympathetic and well drawn characters who find themselves in situations that they created. For details read the publisher's blurb, it is spot on.
I recommend this read, and all of PJ Wrights work. I understand we will see more soon.
Actually a pretty good story. Artist can't find a job until he discovers that a company needs to even out its work force by hiring a woman. (Some sort of federal or state equity law) His brother suggests and pays for the purchase of a suit which will transform the male body into a female body. (Sorry people, but to the best of my knowledge such a suit doesn't exist. However, this is fiction) Man gets the job, because he is a really good artist. The man turns out to be almost totally hetero and meets his wife who has a suit that turned her into a man, who would have known. P.J. Wright the author is also the name of the main character so we might have a little transference going on here. All in all a good story.
