This was cute book, A really enjoyed the Spaghetti Snake I think because he was made out of spaghetti and not scaly!Harriet doesn't like spaghetti and can not leave the table until she at least tries it. We all have had to deal with this sometime within our life. While Harriet is sitting there she starts to daydream and her daydream takes her to a desert! What she discovers is a spaghetti snake and she has to find a way to defeat him will she be able to? Who knows....you will have to read the book to find out how far she goes with her imagination.

Great read for kids young and old! This book reminded me of "Where the Wild Things Are". Lots of adventure, wonder, entertainment and excitement. I think a lot of kids (and parents) can relate to Harriet when it comes to the struggle at dinner time. Cute book, good story and vibrant illustrations )
As the father of 4, I've seen my share of imaginative children, but Harriet takes the cake. I mean, spaghetti. This is such a fun, relatable story. I love the creativity as well as the adorable images!

All children have their own talents and personalities. Some kids are very picky about what they want to eat and other kids have great imaginations. Combine the two together and you have Harriet in Harriet and the Spaghetti Snake. This is a cute story with lots of adventure to be enjoyed!!
Harriet and the Spaghetti Snake was a good book. I love that Harriet uses her imagination to escape from trying something new. In the end, she finds she really does like spaghetti.
Adorable storyline filled with imagination and colorful illustrations. This is a perfect children's book for parents with picky eaters. Kids will laugh as they read along and see how Harriet defeats the Spaghetti Snake. Loved it!
I felt this author did a tremendous job in her storyline, font size as
well as her images in making this hopefully more encouraging for young kids to try new and strange foods to them. I really enjoyed this amusing book. The story tells of a little girl who disappears into the world of her imagination, which becomes more real to her than real life. This gets her into trouble from time to time. The characters come across as quite lifelike and the situation is one that many parents of imaginative children will recognise. The illustrations are colourful and lively. This is a good book to read aloud, and is written simply enough for early readers to manage on their own.
